✅ Best Film Location
Tourists can witness everything from the highest peaks to the deepest gorges, from plateaus to flatlands. As a researcher and filmmaker, I travel through districts from Solukhumbu to Ramechhap to experience the splendour and feel the vitality of the stories these places tell.
To my surprise, I found a place on the trek routes between Solukhumbu and Ramechhap that closely resembles the area from the movie "The Hobbit." I was speechless, took photos, and even tweeted them to Mr. Peter Jackson. The natural beauty was awe-inspiring, and I thought, "Why shouldn’t this place be promoted worldwide so this hidden Shangri-La can flourish?" The beauty here is so vast that the more I describe it, the more I feel compelled to emphasize it.
As a filmmaker, Nepal’s film locations feel naturally edited, with a sense of tranquillity hanging in the air. These locations are serene and aesthetically astounding. Nepal is also a multicultural and multilingual country, standing out among the most diverse countries worldwide. As a Nepali filmmaker, I proudly promote this place because Nepal has an authenticity that mesmerizes. It has the serenity to make people feel at ease during shooting, writing, or researching. It truly is heaven on Earth.
